Biography

He is an Indonesian contemporary artist known for his exploration of the body, identity, and spirituality.

Yusron Mudakhir was born on May 7, 1977 in Klaten, Central Java. Working across painting, drawing, and installation, his practice combines intuitive processes with philosophical reflection. His works often feature symbolic figures that express inner experience, memory, and human transformation, and have been exhibited in various art spaces both in Indonesia and internationally.
