Artivanta is a curated virtual gallery bringing together exceptional vintage and contemporary art from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Every work is hand-selected by our curatorial team for its authenticity, cultural depth, and artistic merit — not a general marketplace where anyone can list a piece.

Do I need to create an account to purchase?

You can browse freely without an account. To complete a purchase you will need to register so we can manage your order and keep you updated on shipping.

How do I know a work is authentic?

Every artwork is individually reviewed by our curatorial team and ships with a Certificate of Authenticity and provenance documentation where available. For full details, see our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Can I speak to someone before purchasing?

Absolutely. Our Art Advisors are here to guide you. You can reach them through the contact form on our platform, or by emailing expert@artivanta.com.

What currencies do you accept?

All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR). Our payment provider Payabl. accepts all major currencies, automatically applying the applicable exchange rate at the time of purchase.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit and debit cards via Payabl., our fully regulated payment partner who manages security, compliance, and fraud protection on our behalf.

Is it safe to pay on Artivanta?

Yes. All transactions are processed by Payabl., a regulated and compliant payment partner. Your card details are never stored on our platform and every transaction is encrypted end-to-end.

Can I reserve a work before purchasing?

If you need a little more time, please contact our Art Advisors. We will do our best to accommodate a short hold, subject to availability.

03Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship to?

We ship worldwide via DHL Express for international deliveries and trusted local carriers for domestic shipments. Some remote destinations may not be serviceable — we will notify you within 48 hours of purchase if this applies to your address.

How is my artwork packaged?

Every work is packaged to internationally recognised art handling standards, assessed individually by medium, size, fragility, and destination. Full details in our Shipping & Returns Policy.

How long will delivery take?

Total estimated timeframes from order to delivery: domestic up to 10 business days, international up to 10 business days, intercontinental up to 12 business days. These windows include processing, transit, and customs clearance.

How much does shipping cost?

International and intercontinental shipping is calculated at checkout based on dimensions, weight, and destination. For domestic shipments, our team will email you carrier quotes after purchase.

Will I have to pay customs or import duties?

Import duties, VAT, and customs taxes are the buyer's responsibility and vary by country. Certain vintage pieces may also be subject to cultural property laws or CITES regulations. Our Art Advisors can advise on common destination requirements.

How will I track my order?

You will receive email notifications at every stage: order confirmed, dispatched (with your tracking number), in transit, out for delivery, and delivered. All communications go to your registered email address.

04Returns & After-Sales
What is your returns policy?

Returns are limited to eligible cases: significant transit damage (reported within 48 hours), artwork materially different from its listing, or confirmed inauthenticity (within 14 days). Full details at Shipping & Returns Policy.

What if my artwork arrives damaged?

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@artivanta.com with photographs of the packaging and artwork. Use subject line "URGENT — Damage in Transit — [Order Number]".

How do I initiate a return?

Email contact@artivanta.com with subject "Return Request — [Order Number]", your reason, and photographic evidence. Please do not send artwork back without written approval.

When will I receive my refund?

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7 to 10 business days of the artwork being received back at its point of origin. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Do you offer certificates of authenticity?

Yes. Every applicable work ships with a Certificate of Authenticity and provenance documentation where available. Details are noted on each product page.

Can I get advice on caring for my artwork after purchase?

Of course. Contact our Art Advisors at expert@artivanta.com any time after your purchase. We respond within 1 business day.

What personal data do you collect?

We collect the information you provide when registering or purchasing, such as your name, email, and billing address, as well as standard technical data. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

Is my payment information stored on Artivanta?

No. Payments are processed entirely by Payabl., our regulated payment partner. Artivanta never stores your full card number or sensitive payment credentials.

Do you share my data with third parties?

We do not sell your data. We share it only where necessary — with Payabl. to process payments, with hosting providers, and with regulatory authorities where required by law.

What are my privacy rights?

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@artivanta.com. We respond within 30 days.

Why might Artivanta ask for identity verification?

For certain high-value transactions, we are required under EU anti-money laundering (AML) regulations to verify the identity of buyers. This is a legal obligation. You can read more in our AML Policy.
